What materials do I have to provide for product photos
Any one of three is enough: product photos from a few angles taken on a phone, a label or packaging artwork file in PDF, or a technical drawing or 3D model.
The most common case is ordinary phone photos: front, back, side and a close-up on the detail, in even light and without harsh shadows. They do not have to be pretty, they have to show the shape, the proportions and what is written on the packaging.
If the product is still being made, packaging artwork or a technical drawing with dimensions is enough. The photos can then be ready before the first batch leaves production, which matters for launches with a fixed date.
One more piece of information helps: what the product is made of. Glass, matte, gloss and metal reflect light differently, and that decides whether the photo looks believable.
