How many logo proposals do I get to choose from
Three different directions rather than three variants of one idea, each shown in real use. Once you pick a direction you have two rounds of revisions to refine it.
A direction is more than a drawing: it is a different idea of how the company should be seen. Three directions give a real choice, while twenty variants of one idea only feel like a choice and push the design decision back onto a client who has no tools to make it.
We show the mark where it will live: on the website, on a business card, on a label or on a van. A logo viewed as a large file on white is judged completely differently from the same logo embossed on an envelope.
We advise against putting it to a family or company-wide vote. The mark has to be legible to a customer, not prettiest to people who know the company from the inside, and those two rarely coincide.
