What automation means in a small company
Moving repetitive tasks out of the inbox and off the notepad into a system that does them itself: confirmations, reminders, quotes, invoices and routing requests.
Automation in a small company does not mean robots or artificial intelligence making decisions. It means an enquiry from the form lands straight where it should, the customer gets a confirmation without your involvement, and you see an ordered list of matters instead of fifty emails.
The starting point is always the same: we write down the tasks somebody in the company does every week in exactly the same way. Half of that list can usually come off in the first month.
The rest stays with a person, and that is how it should be. You automate the repetitive, not a conversation with a customer who is hesitating.
